Behaviour Training - Level 1

Service Description

A solid foundation is the key to long-term success in addressing your dog’s most challenging behaviours, and Level 1 is where we’ll start that journey together. These private, in-home lessons, are designed for dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, and provides you with the knowledge, tools and understanding needed to create calm, confident and consistent practices that will foster a well-mannered companion, while adhering to your unique day-to-day life. In these sessions, we’ll focus on understanding how a dog's mind works, while relating that understanding to identifying and resolving common, or unique, challenges you are experiencing. Through patient, highly supportive, hands-on training, personalized exercises, and a deep understanding of your dog’s unique needs, we’ll establish new positive habits and begin to establish a strong line communication between you and your dog. My approach is built on trust, respect, patience, and time, using a wide array of proven techniques to help your dog learn in a way that feels natural and rewarding. Mason, and if applicable, other pack members, may assist in demonstrating behaviours and responses to help guide your dog in a safe and supportive environment. By the end of Level 1, you’ll have the tools and confidence to address everyday challenges, strengthen the bond with your dog, and set the stage for continued growth in future training levels. What You’ll Learn in Behaviour Training Level 1: • Building strong foundational behaviours through uniquely-structured lessons, aimed at opening a new line of communication with you dog. • Improving awareness, focus, engagement, and responsiveness to commands. • Addressing common day-to-day behaviour challenges with tailored solutions. • Establishing a calm, respectful relationship based on trust and communication. Single-session follow-up lessons are always available, however, it's unlikely one lesson will address all your needs. The Behaviour Level 1 package is designed to set you and your dog up for continued success, and ensure that the progress we make together is efficient, lasting and highly impactful.
